Upper Dentures
Upper dentures are designed to replace the upper teeth only. They are easier to adjust to than complete dentures.
Over Dentures
Over dentures are quite similar to complete dentures ,the only difference being that not all the teeth are removed. The remaining teeth are used as support for the dentures. These dentures provide more support during chewing. They cost more than complete dentures and require more work to prepare.
Partial Dentures
This type of dentures are used when only several teeth are missing and are fitted in the gaps left by the missing teeth. Metal anchors are used to attach the dentures to the natural teeth. These dentures serve a useful purpose since they prevent the remaining teeth from drifting out of alignment,a common problem for people with some missing teeth. They also prevent the exposed gum from getting infected.
